What is Misting system!
Misting system is a term that describes a wide range of outdoor cooling solutions using water spraying to cool you, your family, your guests, your customers, your workers, teammates, employees… even your animals — pets or livestock.
Misting system can be called also fogging systems and spray cooling but those terms are same as Misting system and works the same way
Types of Misting system or Fogging system
There are basically three types of misting systems,
- high-pressure misting systems, (usually up to 15bar (217psi))
- mid pressure misting systems, (usually from 20bar (290psi) to 40bar (580psi))
- Low pressure misting systems, (more than 45bar (652psi))
The difference between these Misting Systems is the amount of pressure being forced through the nozzle. The rule for misting systems is the higher the pressure the smaller the droplets and the faster the evaporation. A high pressure misting system operates between 800 and 1200 psi and when used and installed correctly a process called flash evaporation cools without wetness.
The pressure ranges above are not hard limits, but as a rule of thumb, the higher the pressure, the smallest water particles could get produced from misting or fogging nozzle.
